Senior Advisor Global Partnerships

About the role

World Vision International is seeking a dynamic Senior Advisor, Global Partnerships to lead its engagement with private‑sector actors, faith‑based investors and innovative finance stakeholders. The role will shape how the organization partners with the private sector to mobilise capital for child‑focused outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advocacy and engagement with private‑sector, faith‑based and ESG/sustainability networks, including participation in the Child Lens Investing Framework community.
• Develop and execute partnership positioning strategies, conduct environment scans and stakeholder power mapping to identify priority actors and entry points.
• Collaborate with Grants Acquisition, Management and Global Marketing teams to align partnership work with fundraising plans.
• Manage relationships with 1–2 strategic global coalitions, negotiate strategic plans and broker opportunities to amplify children’s voices.
• Capture learning from partnerships and translate insights into guidance for future collaboration.

Required profile

• Master’s or Doctoral degree (MBA or equivalent) in Business, Finance, International Development, Public Policy, Economics or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in partnership management, private‑sector engagement or business development, with expertise in private finance, faith‑based investment, ESG or impact finance.
• Proven track record of building high‑level external relationships with senior executives, investors and multi‑stakeholder coalitions.
• Strong ability to influence without formal authority and to develop compelling business cases for senior leadership.
• Fluent professional English; additional language proficiency is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot and Claude.
