About the role
The Senior Artisan I will supervise campus maintenance and structural works at Kisii University. This full‑time position, based in Kisii, Kenya, requires a relevant Craft Certificate or Trade Test and a minimum of seven years of experience in the field. The role is focused on ensuring that all university facilities are kept in good condition and that any structural projects are carried out safely and efficiently.
Required profile
- A cumulative service period of at least seven (7) years of relevant work experience, with three (3) of those years served at the Senior Artisan II grade or in a comparable position.
- Possession of a Trade Test Grade I Certificate issued by an accredited examining body.
- Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in past work performance and results.
- Ability to oversee maintenance activities and manage structural repair projects on a university campus.
