Senior Civil Engineer (Infrastructure)

About the role

We are looking for a senior civil engineer to lead the design and delivery of large‑scale urban infrastructure projects. The role combines strategic planning, detailed engineering design and on‑site supervision to ensure resilient, sustainable city networks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead conceptual, preliminary and detailed design of civil infrastructure including road networks, geometric and pavement design, potable water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Perform hydrological and hydraulic modelling for stormwater management and design Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS) with flood‑line analysis.
• Prepare and approve engineering documentation – calculations, technical reports, specifications and construction drawings – in line with international and local standards.
• Provide technical oversight during construction, conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues and approve materials and submittals.
• Coordinate continuously with urban designers, landscape architects, government agencies and utility providers to integrate infrastructure into the masterplan and obtain necessary approvals.

Required profile

• Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in civil infrastructure design for large urban developments.
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept through construction supervision.
• Strong knowledge of local and international design standards for roads, water and wastewater systems.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
