About the role
The Senior Coordinator, HR Communications leads the creation and delivery of internal communications that support the People/HR strategy, college culture, and ACC brand. Reporting to the Vice Chancellor of Human Resources and partnering with the Office of College Relations & Marketing, this role ensures consistent, high‑impact messaging for faculty and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and manage a pipeline of high‑impact internal communications that reinforce the People/HR strategy, college culture and ACC brand.
- Serve as the college’s lead employment copy editor, ensuring accuracy, consistency and tone across all HR‑related content.
- Partner closely with the Office of College Relations & Marketing and collaborate with Academic Affairs, Student Services, College Operations and Business Services to deliver timely messages to faculty and staff.
- Translate complex HR policies and initiatives into clear, engaging communications that drive adoption of positive employment practices.
- Maintain a consistent flow of updates through multiple channels, including newsletters, intranet posts and digital signage.
Required profile
- Proven experience in HR or corporate communications, preferably in a higher‑education environment.
- Excellent written and editorial skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and build relationships across diverse campus units.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid setting and adapting to on‑site requirements as directed.
