Senior Data Engineer – Analytics & Modeling (Remote LATAM)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with a focus on analytics and modeling to join the ADP Engineering team within the Central Analytics Organization. The role is fully remote for candidates in LATAM and will drive the modernization of a Marketplace Analytics Data Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Dismantle legacy ETL scripts and replace them with a modern, observable data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Dagster).
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and robust data models.
• Implement rigorous validation and testing frameworks to ensure data reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver real‑time, high‑performance datasets.
• Optimize SQL queries and Python workflows for performance and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or advanced analytics.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of delivering production‑ready data products.
• Experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Ability to work independently and align with a CT ±2 hour time zone.

• Advanced SQL for complex transformations and reporting.
• Python scripting for data processing and automation.
• Snowflake data warehousing and performance tuning.
• dbt for modular ELT development.
• Dagster for orchestration and pipeline health monitoring.
• AWS services such as S3 and EC2.
• Data modeling, pipeline engineering, and data validation.
