Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure & Kubernetes

About the role

PrismHR is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable, and highly‑available cloud infrastructure on Azure. You will enable engineering teams by providing infrastructure as code, CI/CD automation, and container orchestration, ensuring reliability for payroll and benefits services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure resources including AKS, virtual networks, load balancers, storage accounts, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and IAM.
• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules, enforce IaC standards, and ensure environment parity across dev, QA, and production.
• Operate AKS clusters, handle container deployments, scaling, rolling upgrades, and troubleshoot cluster, node, pod, and networking issues.
• Create and own CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery, integrating automated testing, security scans, and rollback capabilities.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions, participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis, and drive post‑incident improvements.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on DevOps or platform engineering experience.
• Strong expertise with Azure services, especially AKS, networking, and monitoring.
• Proven experience building and maintaining Terraform modules and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation and collaborate across software engineering, QA, security, and architecture teams.
