Senior DevOps Engineer – Remote (UK/Europe Support)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client’s UK/Europe engineering team on a fully remote basis. The role focuses on scaling cloud platforms, executing migrations, and providing day‑to‑day infrastructure support for a high‑growth digital media enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cloud infrastructure migration projects for European business units, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal resource use.
• Serve as the primary DevOps point of contact for UK and European engineering stakeholders, unblocking development teams and addressing infrastructure needs.
• Maintain and evolve Infrastructure as Code using Terraform across multiple environments.
• Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines, primarily built with Jenkins, to deliver fast, stable, and secure releases.
• Oversee containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, handling configuration, scaling, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate closely with the existing DevOps team to share knowledge, align architectural standards, and drive the operational roadmap.

Required profile

• 6+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps or Cloud Architecture.
• Proven expertise delivering production‑grade solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Strong background in Terraform for multi‑environment provisioning.
• Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes in a production setting.
• Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and troubleshoot complex Jenkins pipelines.
