Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our distributed team developing PrismHR’s flagship SaaS, mobile, and on‑premise products. You will work across the entire technology stack, from database design to front‑end implementation, and help modernise legacy systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and debug complex application code across all tiers.
• Write unit tests and ensure high code quality through peer reviews.
• Produce technical documentation throughout the software lifecycle.
• Lead system‑design efforts focusing on security, performance, data integrity and scalability.
• Collaborate with QA to define comprehensive testing strategies.

Required profile

• 10+ years of software industry experience, preferably in product design, architecture, or support.
• Strong communication, mentorship mindset, and a positive, self‑directed attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and as part of a team.
• Domain knowledge in Human Capital Management (HCM) is a plus.

Required skills

• Expert‑level JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with modern frameworks such as AngularJS, React, or Vue.js.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SCSS.
• Node.js and Express for RESTful or micro‑service development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Agile development, CI/CD, test‑driven development, and Git.
• Docker on Linux or macOS.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL or MultiValue (PICK) databases.
