Senior Google Ads Growth Engineer (Remote, Nigeria)

About the role

CompetitivIA is seeking a Senior Google Ads Growth Engineer to design and run the paid‑acquisition engine for Lead with Isidore, an AI‑powered Business English platform for French‑speaking professionals. The role is fully remote, based in Nigeria, and focuses on turning high‑intent searches into paying, retained customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise Google Search strategy, campaign architecture and performance.
• Implement end‑to‑end conversion tracking using GA4, Google Tag Manager and server‑side tagging.
• Build custom Google Ads scripts in JavaScript or Python for monitoring, anomaly detection, pacing and automation.
• Conduct search‑term analysis, manage negative keywords and control intent.
• Report on CAC, payback periods and retention metrics.
• Collaborate closely with the SEO team to maximise SERP coverage on high‑intent keywords.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Google Ads experience.
• Strong technical tracking and debugging capabilities.
• Demonstrated success in reducing CAC or driving qualified pipeline/revenue.
• Ability to integrate advertising data with CRM, payment and product event systems.
• Professional English proficiency; French is a plus.
