Senior Grants and Finance Officer

About the role

inSupply Health is seeking an experienced Senior Grants and Finance Officer to lead financial and grants management for a prospective multi‑country donor‑funded project starting January 2027. The role covers the full grant lifecycle, from start‑up through implementation, reporting and close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Support grant establishment, budget operationalisation and compliance with donor regulations.
• Monitor grant expenditure, burn rates, variances and financial risks; prepare monthly budget‑versus‑actual analyses and forecasts.
• Conduct donor compliance reviews, manage audit processes and maintain risk trackers.
• Coordinate subaward onboarding, financial oversight of partners and capacity‑building activities.
• Provide technical guidance on donor compliance, strengthen grant tracking tools and support proposal development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA(K) or ACCA) and membership in a recognized accounting body.
• Minimum 5 years experience in grants management, donor compliance and programme finance within donor‑funded organisations.
• Experience with major institutional donors such as USAID, FCDO, Global Fund, BMGF, EU or UNITAID.
