Senior HR Officer – Flowers

About the role

AAA Growers Limited is looking for a proactive Senior Human Resource Officer to lead HR activities within its Flowers Division. The role focuses on workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, talent development, employee relations, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate divisional organograms and ensure job descriptions are current and aligned with grading frameworks.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding for operational and supervisory positions.
• Develop and monitor employee KPIs, manage performance reviews, and track improvement initiatives.
• Support succession planning, maintain talent records, and coordinate training programmes.
• Provide first‑line HR support, address employee concerns, and manage escalation of formal matters.
• Maintain HR records, prepare periodic reports, and ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws, company policies, and social audit standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years’ HR experience in an operational environment.
• Proven experience in recruitment, performance management, job description development, organogram management, and KPI frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.

• Proficiency in HR information systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
