Senior Java Developer

About the role

Join Nexo’s fast‑moving fintech team to design, build, and operate distributed systems that power the next generation of digital wealth. You will own the full software lifecycle, from writing code to deploying and maintaining high‑performance services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain back‑end components and micro‑services using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka and AWS.
• Ensure code quality with continuous integration, automated testing and coverage reporting.
• Optimize systems for speed, scalability and high availability.
• Work in small autonomous squads with short release cycles.
• Share knowledge and help evolve team best practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience developing Java applications with Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture and event‑driven design.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, MySQL) and NoSQL stores (MongoDB, Opensearch, Redis).
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ or Amazon SQS.
• Ability to leverage AI‑powered tools for code generation, refactoring and documentation.
