Senior Lead Drug Safety – Ophthalmology

About the role

Join the CDS Drug Safety / Pharmacovigilance team at TFS HealthScience as a Senior Lead Drug Safety, focusing on ophthalmology. You will provide senior leadership and hands‑on operational delivery to ensure high‑quality case handling, compliance and process optimisation across a global portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight across Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance activities.
• Act at both portfolio and departmental level to ensure quality and continuity.
• Remain hands‑on with safety case review, escalations and AE/SAE processing.
• Support global safety activities, including US regulatory requirements.
• Lead, mentor and support safety team members.
• Build, improve and implement safety processes and workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Strong experience in Drug Safety / Pharmacovigilance within a CRO or similar environment.
• Proven leadership experience through team management or senior functional oversight.
• Solid knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and processes.
• Ability to work both operationally and strategically.
