Senior Network Engineer

About the role

Fahari Link, powered by Tatu City, aims to bridge the digital divide by providing reliable, affordable high‑speed internet to businesses, schools and residents. The Senior Network Engineer will design, implement, maintain and support a growing network infrastructure, ensuring scalable, secure and highly available services that meet business objectives and SLAs.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and install routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN and QoS devices.
• Perform network maintenance, upgrades, patches and security configurations.
• Monitor performance, availability and capacity planning.
• Provide Level‑2/3 support and troubleshooting.
• Follow configuration and change‑management policies.
• Select and implement security tools and policies with the security team.
• Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for issue resolution.
• Present technical information to managers, leads and customers.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to interpret data and prioritize faults.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• B.Sc. degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, JNCIA, HCNA, CCNP; CCIE or CISSP highly valued).
• Proven hands‑on network engineering experience.
• Ability to work on a 24×7 call‑out rota.

Required skills

• BGP, MPLS (L2/L3 VPN), ISIS, OSPF in IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
• Configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN and QoS.
• FTTH technologies, Huawei OLT, Mikrotik, Juniper and Huawei switches/routers.
• Network monitoring, capacity planning and security tool implementation.
