Senior Project Manager – Large Scale

About the role

AKHWAN CONSTRUCTION LIMITED is delivering a mixed‑use residential development on a 5‑acre site in Kisumu. The Senior Project Manager will lead the full‑scale execution of six residential towers, one mixed‑use tower and associated infrastructure, from mobilisation to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master construction programme, coordinating the critical path across seven high‑rise blocks.
• Integrate structural, architectural, MEP and external works, managing long‑lead items and procurement alignment.
• Prepare detailed budgets and cash‑flow forecasts, monitor cost performance and approve subcontractor valuations.
• Lead site managers, engineers, QS, safety officers and subcontractors to meet productivity, safety and quality targets.
• Serve as the primary liaison with the client, consultants, contractors and regulatory authorities, resolving contractual and operational issues.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 10 years of experience in large‑scale construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous high‑rise structures while maintaining schedule integrity and cost control.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience with value engineering and risk mitigation.
