Senior Python Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join a leading large‑language‑model company. The position is fully remote and focuses on building high‑quality proprietary data sets, fine‑tuning models, and benchmarking performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient Python code for training and optimizing AI models.
• Conduct evaluations and benchmark model performance, analysing results for continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and rank model responses across diverse domains to ensure alignment with predefined criteria.
• Lead supervised fine‑tuning efforts, creating and curating task‑specific datasets.
• Collaborate with researchers and annotators to implement reinforcement learning with human feedback and refine reward models.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Python development for AI/ML applications.
• Hands‑on experience with supervised fine‑tuning (SFT) and reinforcement learning with human feedback (RLHF).
• Strong understanding of evaluation strategies and benchmarking processes for large language models.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and collaborate with global research teams.
