Senior Research Officer

About the role

The Senior Research Officer will lead and coordinate research projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This role bridges client relationship management, project execution, and strategic planning to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute assigned research projects.
• Identify business opportunities, manage client relationships, and generate revenue.
• Supervise team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Track project progress, report updates to management, and adjust plans as needed.
• Develop new methodologies and improve existing processes to meet milestones.
• Present research findings to management in a clear, understandable format.
• Assist in preparing project budgets, schedules, and expense monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with accounting for payments and grant approvals.
• Stay current with research tools, techniques, and industry developments.
• Analyze and resolve research issues promptly and accurately.
• Negotiate costs and manage finance and schedule activities.
• Work with leadership to set research priorities and develop a roadmap.
• Identify challenges and devise appropriate solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading research projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders.
