Senior Specialist, Fusion Financials (FMS)

About the role

Save the Children is hiring a Senior Specialist, Fusion Financials (FMS) to manage its Oracle Fusion financial management systems. The role works with the global TDIT team to build, implement, improve, support and analyse Finance Management System solutions, partnering with business stakeholders and product owners. It reports to the Senior Manager, Product Development (FMS) and offers hybrid/remote work with flexible options.

Key responsibilities

• Support the migration from Agresso to Oracle Fusion, including data validation, integrations, testing and user support.
• Assist in configuring, testing and deploying Oracle Fusion Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM).
• Take part in post-go-live work such as system stabilisation, enhancement requests and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives in a Scrum team.
• Document processes, configurations and training materials, and support onboarding of new team members.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, data governance and security standards.
• Manage development change requests, support global users, engage vendors and monitor SLAs.
• Work with IT teams on system performance, platform updates and regression testing.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or a related field.
• English language requirement; right to work in the country of employment.
• Desirable: Oracle Certified Implementation Specialist – Fusion Financials (ERP); experience in a non-profit sector.

Required skills

• Good understanding of Oracle Fusion Financials and proven experience developing, implementing and managing Oracle Fusion ERP (E-Business Suite or Fusion Cloud).
• Knowledge of Oracle financial modules such as GL, AP, AR and EPM.
• Experience troubleshooting complex business and technical issues and winning stakeholder buy-in.
• Desirable: team leader experience, strong application support record, knowledge of AWS/Azure, Agile/Scrum, automated builds, ITIL and cloud services.
