About the role
The Senior Supply Chain Management Officer will oversee procurement and supply chain activities for the National Gender and Equality Commission, ensuring compliance with public procurement laws and delivering accurate supply chain reports.
Key responsibilities
- Implement procurement laws, regulations and policies.
- Prepare estimates of expenditure, bid documents, quotations and proposals.
- Process procurement of assigned tenders and manage contracts.
- Oversee stores, inventory management and disposal of obsolete assets.
- Prepare annual procurement and disposal plans.
Required profile
- Minimum three (3) years experience as Supply Chain Management Officer I or equivalent in the public service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CPSP‑K or CIPS level 6 and valid membership/license with KISM.
- Completion of a senior management course and compliance with Chapter six of the Kenyan Constitution.
