Service & Warranty Supervisor – Residential Construction

About the role

Mirrastone, Victoria's largest residential home builder, is seeking an experienced Service & Warranty Supervisor for the Gippsland region. You will lead post‑construction service and warranty activities, ensuring homeowners receive consistent, high‑quality support after moving into their new homes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct new‑home service and warranty inspections across Gippsland (and occasional Southeast Metro overflow).
• Identify, assess and resolve building defects and maintenance issues.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and service requests.
• Coordinate trades, suppliers and contractors to complete rectification works.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to customers throughout the warranty process.
• Build strong relationships with homeowners and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with Service & Warranty Administrators, Technicians and internal stakeholders.
• Manage warranty outcomes in line with company standards, VBA requirements and industry best practice.
• Ensure service requests are resolved efficiently within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the warranty process.

Required profile

• Previous experience in service & warranty, maintenance or construction within residential building.
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and defect diagnosis.
• Sound knowledge of VBA requirements, building regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Ability to manage customer expectations and handle challenging situations professionally.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated and able to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
