Shop Attendant

About the role

The Shop Attendant will be the first point of contact for customers in our Westlands retail outlet. You will ensure a welcoming atmosphere, provide product information and support sales transactions while maintaining store standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Provide accurate information on products, prices, promotions and availability.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Arrange, display and replenish merchandise to keep the shop attractive and organized.
• Process sales transactions and handle cash, mobile money and card payments accurately.
• Assist in stock receiving, stock counts and inventory management.
• Ensure the cleanliness and general appearance of the store at all times.
• Monitor product displays and report low stock levels to management.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints and returns professionally.
• Support sales initiatives and work towards achieving store sales targets.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with up to 12 months of retail experience.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle cash, mobile money and card payments accurately.
• Attention to detail for stock handling and store presentation.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Nairobi, Westlands.
