About the role
The Kenya National Farmers’ Federation is offering a three‑month Business Development & Services internship at its headquarters in Kikuyu. The intern will support the BDS department by promoting an insurance product and handling customer interactions. This role provides hands‑on experience in sales, customer service and business development within the agricultural sector.
Key responsibilities
- Follow up with prospective and existing customers regarding the insurance product.
- Provide customer service and respond to enquiries.
- Support product promotion and customer engagement activities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer follow‑ups and feedback.
- Assist the BDS team with additional business development tasks as assigned.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Insurance, Commerce or a related field.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer‑focused, confident and proactive attitude.
- Ability to follow up consistently and work towards set targets.
