Site Lead – AFRICOM Operations

About the role

The Site Lead will provide operational, administrative, and management oversight for Valiant Integrated Services and its subcontractor linguists within the AFRICOM Area of Responsibility. This position ensures high‑quality service delivery, maintains customer relationships, and safeguards employee welfare.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day actions to guarantee quality service and support to the customer.
• Communicate changes, requirements, concerns, and issues to the Task Order Program Manager.
• Forward customer requests to the Program Manager and keep the customer informed of status.
• Conduct daily customer meetings to align expectations and meet SOW requirements.
• Coordinate employee schedules, travel, health, morale, and welfare.
• Ensure compliance with customer regulations, conduct, work schedules, and administrative procedures.
• Handle administrative matters concerning linguist personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in management or a related field.
• Minimum three years of management experience (military or civilian).
• Military experience at grade E‑8 or higher, familiar with military customs and procedures.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance (or eligibility).
• Ability to meet medical, dental, and immunization requirements for deployment.
• Capability to work under stress, meet short deadlines, and lift up to 50 lb.

Required skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
