Site Surveyor

About the role

The Site Surveyor will support construction projects by delivering accurate field measurements and mapping data. Working on‑site in Westlands, Nairobi, you will collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure designs align with real‑world conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform site surveys using GPS, GIS, drones, and laser equipment to collect precise measurements.
• Create detailed maps, plans, and reports for project stakeholders.
• Verify project designs against existing site conditions and ensure compliance with zoning, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor land and building boundaries to prevent legal disputes.
• Provide technical advice on site layout, excavation, grading, and utility installation.
• Supervise field staff and ensure proper calibration of surveying instruments.
• Adhere to QSHE procedures and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant surveying experience.
• Valid professional surveyor licence or certification.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
