Social Media Marketer

About the role

Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a man-power management solutions firm operating across the East African region (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Sudan). On behalf of its client, it is recruiting a competent, skilled and experienced Social Media Marketer to work in Nairobi, Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Create, curate and schedule content for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and X (Twitter)
• Monitor channels for engagement, trends and brand mentions
• Respond to comments, messages and community interactions promptly and professionally
• Support the development and execution of social media campaigns and promotions
• Analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth) and prepare reports
• Research industry trends, competitor activity and emerging platforms
• Collaborate with the marketing team on content planning and brand strategy
• Help with administrative tasks and other marketing initiatives as needed

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field
• At least one year of experience in social media marketing and content creation
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Creative mindset with attention to detail, able to work independently and collaboratively

Required skills

• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices
• Basic knowledge of content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Spark and CapCut
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus
