Solution Architect - Enterprise Data Architecture

About the role

Standard Bank Group is looking for a Solution Architect in Nairobi to define, govern and evolve the enterprise data architecture that supports its strategic objectives, regulatory compliance, digital transformation, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence and operational excellence. The role sets data architecture standards, data models, integration patterns, governance frameworks, metadata management practices and information lifecycle controls so that data is secure, trusted and scalable across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Define, govern and evolve the enterprise data architecture
• Establish data architecture standards, data models, integration patterns, governance frameworks, metadata management and information lifecycle controls
• Collaborate with business, technology, risk, compliance, security and data teams so that data assets are managed as strategic enterprise assets aligned to organizational outcomes

Required profile

• First degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems or a related field
• Certified System Architect
• 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in a solutions architecture-based role
• Strong knowledge of computers, networks and various types of hardware
• Experience using data, analytics and AI technologies to drive innovation and business outcomes
• Experience setting up and maintaining enterprise data governance frameworks covering compliance, risk management and value realization from data assets
