Solutions Architect

About the role

The Solutions Architect will define and maintain the end‑to‑end architecture for mobile, backend microservices, and integration layers supporting high‑scale digital platforms. You will translate product requirements into secure, performant solutions while ensuring system stability during peak traffic events.

Key responsibilities

• Own architecture across iOS/Android, backend microservices, and integration layers.
• Translate product requirements into scalable, secure, high‑performance designs.
• Define and enforce API standards, integration patterns, and data‑flow conventions.
• Drive non‑functional requirements such as scalability, resiliency, performance, observability, and security.
• Lead architecture and design reviews, challenging weak or incomplete solutions.
• Prepare systems for high‑traffic events (promotions, campaigns, peak loads).
• Design for failure by default, implementing timeouts, retries, circuit breakers, and fallbacks.
• Collaborate with product, UX, engineering, and external partners to align solutions.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the delivery cycle.
• Guide teams in adopting modern patterns (microservices, event‑driven, cloud‑native).
• Validate architecture through hands‑on prototypes, technical spikes, and reference implementations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a solutions architect for high‑scale digital platforms (telco, fintech, e‑commerce, or similar).
• Deep expertise in microservices, API‑first design, and system integration (REST, event‑driven, messaging such as Kafka or Pub/Sub).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably GCP (AWS acceptable).
• Hands‑on experience with Node.js and MongoDB.
• Experience designing for high concurrency, traffic spikes, resiliency, and performance at scale.
• Familiarity with mobile architectures (native iOS/Android, Kotlin Multiplatform, WebView, React Native).
• Solid understanding of security principles (authentication, authorization, secure APIs).
• Ability to back architecture decisions with working code, prototypes, or technical spikes.
