Specialist, Asset Management

About the role

The Specialist, Asset Management will manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets, focusing on laptops and related equipment, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance and efficient logistics to support employee productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise reconciliation of stock tallies with vendor purchases and maintain precise inventory records.
• Prepare month‑end reports, coordinate with finance and other departments, and provide training on asset management best practices.
• Oversee end‑to‑end laptop logistics, including deployment, retrieval, repairs, and documentation of loan agreements.
• Maintain asset records in the IT Asset Management (ITAM) system and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline processes.
• Handle administrative tasks, update trackers, and support departmental resources and employee engagement.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in asset or inventory management, preferably with laptops and IT equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Willingness to work fully onsite in Nairobi and to cover graveyard shifts on any day of the week.
• Ability to supervise at least one analyst with plans to expand the team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Asset Panda (ITAM) for tracking assets.
• Advanced Excel/Sheets skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience using Google Workspace and Mac OS environments.
