Store Construction Project Manager

About the role

The Store Construction Project Manager leads the planning, design, fit‑out and delivery of retail showrooms, ensuring each project meets brand standards, stays on schedule and respects budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Showroom Store Identity (SI) Standards Manual and renovation procedures.
• Manage end‑to‑end store construction, from site measurements and layout planning to design approval, material sourcing and final inspection.
• Select, evaluate and supervise contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Prepare, monitor and control project budgets, reviewing design changes and material selections to optimise costs.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing and other internal teams to align construction activities with business objectives.
• Lead and develop the store construction team, handling training, performance management and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in retail showroom or store construction, with a track record of managing the fit‑out of 20+ stores.
• Strong understanding of brand visual identity (VI) and store identity (SI) systems, interior design principles and construction methods.
• Demonstrated project management, budgeting and cost‑control capabilities.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional coordination skills.
