Structural/Civil Engineer & Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Structural/Civil Engineer who will also act as Project Manager to lead, plan and oversee large‑scale construction projects from design through completion. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of hands‑on experience in building, structural and civil works, and registration with the Engineers Board of Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, plan, coordinate and manage large‑scale civil and structural construction projects from commencement to completion.
• Supervise site teams, contractors, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and safety standards.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, variations and procurement to deliver within approved time, cost and quality targets.
• Review and interpret structural, architectural and civil drawings and oversee construction of foundations, reinforced concrete, steel structures and masonry.
• Conduct regular site inspections, resolve technical issues and ensure quality control and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in civil/structural engineering and construction project management.
• Registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale building and structural projects.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundations, and masonry.
