Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Manager will lead VisionSpring’s end‑to‑end supply chain across Southeast Africa and China, ensuring products and materials are available at the right place, time, cost and quality. Reporting to the Global Director of Supply Chain, the role combines strategic planning, operational execution and governance in a fast‑moving, multi‑country environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional supply chain strategies, annual planning, budgeting and risk assessments.
• Coordinate monthly S&OP demand and supply reviews, consolidate forecasts and present risks to leadership.
• Monitor inventory health, recommend replenishment quantities, manage ageing stock and execute purchase orders.
• Oversee international shipments, customs clearance, freight partner coordination and 3PL performance.
• Maintain audit‑ready records, ensure compliance with donor and regulatory requirements, and document SOPs and control points.

Required profile

• 10–12 years of progressive supply chain, procurement or logistics experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑country teams, coach staff and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using SAP, Excel and Power BI for decision‑making.
• Demonstrated governance and compliance discipline, ensuring audit readiness and ethical procurement practices.
