About the role
The Aga Khan Primary School in Kisumu is looking for a qualified Swimming Coach/Teacher to deliver engaging swimming lessons aligned with the Competency Based Curriculum and support students’ physical development.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver swimming lessons that match students’ abilities and progressive development.
- Design student‑centered learning experiences and contribute to co‑curricular programmes and school events.
- Maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment, including lifeguard and first‑aid duties.
- Keep records of swimming equipment and motivate learners to participate in swimming activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor Degree in Education (Physical Education) with minimum B‑ in O‑levels.
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and 1‑2 years teaching experience.
- Trained Swimming Coach with the Kenya Swimming Teachers and Coaches Association.
- Life guard and First Aid certification is an advantage.
