Systems Integration Coordinator

About the role

The Systems Integration Coordinator will act as the bridge between supply chain operations and IT infrastructure for the Dawa za Ubora Project. This position drives digital alignment, system interoperability, and innovative solutions to support health commodity logistics across Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical assessments and consult stakeholders to define supply‑chain technology solutions.
• Create data structures, algorithms, and system architecture that balance technology, cost, and risk.
• Develop high‑quality code, document technical aspects, and manage deployment across environments.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades for deployed applications.
• Oversee all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning to testing and deployment.
• Integrate software components into fully functional systems and implement verification and QA procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, ICT or a related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience, including at least two (2) years as a Software Developer.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities; team player with high integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Java, Ruby on Rails, C++ or comparable programming languages.
• Data management, database management, and system integration expertise.
• Technical support and troubleshooting skills.
