Tech Lead / Senior Fullstack Engineer - B2B Healthcare Marketplace

About the role

A company building a B2B healthcare marketplace platform is looking for a Technical Lead / Senior Software Engineer who combines strong system design and backend architecture expertise with hands-on coding, technical leadership and end-to-end delivery ownership. The role covers buyer-facing and seller-facing marketplace platforms, and requires fluent English.

Key responsibilities

• Write high-quality code for complex, business-critical components across buyer-facing and seller-facing marketplace platforms.
• Design and develop scalable backend services, microservices, APIs, data pipelines and distributed systems.
• Architect internal operations platforms, workflow automation, KYC/compliance checks and partner integrations.
• Lead engineering teams through hands-on guidance, pair programming and code reviews, and establish engineering standards.
• Support hiring, onboarding and mentoring of engineers from junior to senior levels.
• Translate product priorities into engineering roadmaps and resource plans, and own features end to end, from design and development to deployment and monitoring.
• Ensure high availability, performance and security, and automate manual business workflows.
• Improve development practices, including CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies and DevOps workflows.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a Senior or Lead role with hands-on coding and technical coordination.
• Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, distributed systems and software design.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments with changing business requirements.
• Fluent English with excellent cross-functional communication skills.

Required skills

• Full stack: React.js, Next.js and TypeScript
• ASP.NET Core (C#) for microservices and backend APIs
• Relational database design, performance tuning and optimization
• AWS, containerization and Kubernetes in production
• Unix/Linux CLI and RESTful and RPC microservices architecture
• Nice to have: B2B marketplace, e-commerce, fintech or healthcare/pharma experience; KYC, compliance and data privacy knowledge; Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS; Terraform, CloudFormation, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry; scaling an engineering team in a startup or high-growth company.
