Technical Hardware Support Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Hardware Support Consultant to join iStore, Africa’s leading Apple Premium Reseller. In this role you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking assistance with iPhones, iPads, Macs and accessories, ensuring they leave the store confident and satisfied.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on technical support for Apple devices, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
• Guide customers through troubleshooting steps, software updates and device‑care best practices.
• Process repair requests, service bookings and maintain accurate records of all interactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure timely case resolution.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest Apple product releases, operating systems and support protocols.

Required profile

• Completed Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE); IT‑related certification or diploma is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in technical support or customer‑service environments.
• Strong interest in Apple products and ecosystems.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and attention‑to‑detail.
• Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays, while remaining calm under pressure.
