Technical & Pre‑Sales Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, technically skilled professional to provide technical and pre‑sales support for our Push‑to‑Talk over Cellular (PoC) solutions. The role combines customer interaction, project coordination, and hands‑on technical work from demonstrations through to deployment and training.

Key responsibilities

• Support sales meetings, technical discussions, presentations and customer demonstrations.
• Gather and analyse customer operational and technical requirements.
• Recommend appropriate PoC solutions and prepare technical proposals.
• Coordinate proof‑of‑concepts, pilots, installations, testing, training and hand‑over activities.
• Manage technical requirements such as devices, servers, connectivity, IP addresses, domains, firewall settings and system access.
• Install, configure and support PoC radios, Android devices, dispatcher software and communication groups.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and connectivity issues, using tools such as ADB for Android diagnostics.
• Produce installation reports, user guides and hand‑over documentation.
• Deliver customer training and provide remote or on‑site technical support.
• Collaborate with technical partners and suppliers to resolve escalated issues and leverage AI/automation tools to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑facing communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent organisational and project‑coordination skills.
• Must possess a valid passport.

Required skills

• PoC radios and Push‑to‑Talk technology.
• Android devices and ADB diagnostics.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, DNS, SSL, firewalls, servers, mobile networks.
• APIs and system integrations.
• Tools: n8n, GitHub, Docker, Netlify, cPanel, CRM platforms, cloud services.
• Use of AI tools for research, troubleshooting and documentation.
