Technical QA Analyst – Manual & Automated Testing

About the role

The Technical QA Analyst will ensure software products meet business requirements and quality standards through both manual and automated testing. Working closely with development and product teams, you will help identify defects early, increase test coverage, and support high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain manual and automated test cases, scripts and test plans based on specifications.
• Create and evolve test automation frameworks for UI, API and backend testing.
• Execute tests, analyze results, document outcomes and integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Log, prioritize and track defects, collaborating with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements review, design discussions and deployment.
• Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage and QA efficiency.
• Report testing progress, risks and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong coordination, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Typescript and at least one scripting language such as PHP or Python.
• Hands‑on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or Appium.
• Experience testing APIs and backend services (REST).
• Knowledge of a database management system for data validation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) is a plus.
• Exposure to performance or security testing is an advantage.
