Technical Sales Consultant (Nairobi & Mombasa)

About the role

Q-Sourcing Limited, trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec, is a manpower management solutions firm operating across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Sudan. On behalf of its client, it is hiring two Technical Sales Consultants to work in Nairobi and Mombasa. The role drives sales growth and targets through forecasting, prospecting, pipeline management, self-closing and after-sales service, covering telephone sales, email and social media marketing, face-to-face presentations, negotiations and order delivery, with sales activity tracked in Odoo.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and business development: grow the customer base, identify new opportunities and build business development links with banks and insurance companies under VAF.
• Lead generation: 4 client engagements per day, 10 sales calls per day, and 12 new prospects per month; coordinate back office and clients to close deals.
• Marketing: run email, social media and event campaigns, research competitors and customers, and spot emerging markets.
• Team leadership: recruit, coach and monitor sales reps, set objectives, develop monthly forecasts and present sales, revenue and expense reports to management.
• Customer relationship management: understand customer needs and build lasting partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 5+ years of B2B sales and marketing experience, including 5 years leading a sales team.
• Proven record of driving sales from plan to close and meeting targets.
• Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills, with a clean corporate image and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• MS Office and proficiency in any CRM system.
• Comfort with ICT cloud tools and apps, and the ability to explain ICT concepts.
• Email marketing skills.
• Analytical skills and ability to use data for sales and marketing decisions.
