Technical Support Operator – Eastern Region

About the role

The Technical Support Operator will provide on‑site technical assistance for vehicle‑related services in the Eastern region. You will work closely with loan clients, inspection teams, and repair crews to ensure vehicles are accurately assessed, equipped, and documented throughout the financing process.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of repossessed motorcycles and cars, documenting condition, damages, and any fraudulent alterations.
• Perform car valuations using industry‑standard techniques, considering make, model, year, mileage and market trends.
• Install GPS trackers and SIM cards on vehicles, verify functionality and maintain installation records.
• Carry out minor motorcycle repairs and coordinate with repair teams for more complex issues.
• Assist clients during loan applications by providing clear technical guidance and answering queries.
• Maintain accurate records, generate inspection and installation reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in vehicle inspection, GPS installation or mechanical repair.
• Fluent in English and Swahili.
• Strong knowledge of the Kenyan car market and vehicle technical structures.
• High sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
