Technical Support Operator – Nyanza (Awach)

About the role

The Technical Support Operator will ensure that repossessed motorcycles and financed vehicles are inspected, valued, and equipped with tracking technology in accordance with company standards. You will work directly with clients during the loan application process, providing clear technical guidance and maintaining high-quality documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of repossessed motorcycles and assess condition, documenting damages and discrepancies.
• Perform car valuations using industry‑standard techniques, considering make, model, year, mileage and market trends.
• Install GPS trackers and SIM cards on cars and motorcycles, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with safety protocols.
• Carry out minor motorcycle repairs and collaborate with repair teams to resolve technical issues.
• Assist clients throughout the loan application process by answering technical queries.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, valuations, installations and repairs; generate comprehensive reports for internal and compliance use.
• Uphold quality assurance standards and continuously seek process improvements.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in English and Swahili.
• Good knowledge of the Kenyan car market and vehicle technical structures.
• High sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
