Technical Support Operator – Nyanza & Bondo

About the role

The Technical Support Operator will provide hands‑on technical assistance for loan‑related vehicle services. This role involves inspecting, valuing, and maintaining motorcycles and cars, as well as installing GPS and SIM devices to support the financing process.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of repossessed motorcycles and document condition, damages, and discrepancies.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Evaluate car values using industry‑standard techniques, considering make, model, year, mileage and market trends.
• Install GPS trackers on vehicles and ensure proper functionality according to company guidelines.
• Install SIM cards in GPS devices and verify connectivity.
• Perform minor motorcycle repairs and coordinate with repair teams for timely resolution.
• Provide technical guidance to clients throughout the loan application process.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, valuations, installations and repairs, generating compliance reports.
• Uphold quality standards, monitor processes for improvement and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in English and Swahili.
• Good knowledge of the Kenyan car market, including model features and technical structures.
• High sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
