Technology Manager

About the role

The Technology Manager will support the Senior Manager in ensuring smooth operation, support, and continuous improvement of the BInsight system and other organizational applications. This full‑time role is based in Kisii and involves coordinating day‑to‑day support activities, managing user issues, and liaising with stakeholders, vendors, and the technology team.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in process improvement and automation initiatives for existing and upcoming systems.
• Provide prompt support to country IT teams, guide issue resolution, and ensure internal IT service management meets industry standards.
• Assist in UAT, new module rollout, data migration, and post‑implementation support.
• Configure applications, manage access roles, and maintain IT compliance, audit, issue tracking, and change management.
• Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and third‑party vendors, and conduct training sessions.
• Support data pipeline, data warehouse, data visualization platforms, and assist in data analysis.
• Explore emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning to build a future‑ready analytics platform.

Required profile

• B.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in technology operations or application support.
• Knowledge of IT service management, cloud infrastructure, and VM management.
• Strong written communication skills and experience in technical documentation and end‑user training.
