Telecommunications Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to join a leading global telecom provider on a contract basis. This fully remote position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced telecommunications systems for enterprise clients, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimize VoIP, SIP, and PSTN networks.
• Integrate telecommunications solutions with existing IT infrastructure in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor network health, diagnose issues, and resolve incidents to minimize downtime.
• Configure and manage telecommunications hardware such as routers, switches, and gateways.
• Document network configurations, policies, and procedures for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with technical and non‑technical teams.
