About the role
Responsible for identifying potential tourism products, supporting the development of tourism enterprises and community‑based tourism projects, collecting information for guidebooks and statistics, preparing simple reports, and locating suitable sites for tourist signage. The position is based in Iten and requires on‑site work.
Key responsibilities
- Identify potential tourism products and prepare simple reports.
- Identify small and medium tourism enterprises (SMTEs) and community‑based tourism projects.
- Collect information for tourism guidebooks and tourism statistics.
- Identify suitable locations for mounting tourist signages.
- Support the development of tourism enterprises and community‑based tourism initiatives.
Required profile
- Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Marketing, Tours and Travel Operations or a related field.
- Certificate in Computer applications.
