Trainer for MSME Programs in Dadaab

About the role

Inkomoko is seeking a Trainer to deliver its entrepreneurship training programmes for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Dadaab and surrounding locations. Reporting to the Senior Trainer, you will support refugee and local entrepreneurs by providing both in‑person and digital learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy a variety of training methods, both face‑to‑face and digital, adapting approaches as needed.
• Identify client needs and design viable training solutions to address gaps.
• Deliver curriculum‑based training sessions in the assigned location(s).
• Recommend clients requiring additional support to Business Development Advisors.
• Participate in capacity‑building workshops covering business growth, accounting, finance, marketing, human‑centered design and innovation.
• Assist Senior Trainers in developing and harmonising training content for MSMEs.
• Coordinate with BDAs and field officers to ensure full client participation.
• Draft training reports and update online reporting tools.
• Collaborate with location leaders to establish training calendars and manage trainings for incoming clients.

Required profile

• Will report to the Senior Trainer.
• Willingness to work in Dadaab, Garissa or Nairobi.
• Ability to identify client needs and recommend appropriate follow‑up actions.
