Unemployment Claims Associate

About the role

The Unemployment Claims Associate works directly with clients to manage and respond to unemployment insurance claims, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant handling. This role serves as a liaison between clients, internal teams, and state agencies, providing guidance and support throughout the claims process.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned unemployment claims and meet all required deadlines.
• Collaborate with client contacts on claim‑related matters and provide best‑practice guidance.
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve unemployment issues and maintain client satisfaction.
• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from state agencies.
• Participate in the unemployment call queue, aiming for single‑call resolution.
• Monitor the unemployment email inbox and review state portal correspondence.
• Maintain accurate client data in unemployment tracking software.
• Create and assign tasks for Power‑of‑Attorney administration when needed.
