Utility Liaison – US Navy Support

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Utility Liaison to support a unique US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role serves as the primary point of contact between utility providers, installation personnel, and company leadership to ensure reliable utility operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate utility service requests, outages, emergency repairs, and scheduled maintenance.
• Monitor operational status of utility systems and communicate issues to engineering and facilities teams.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, logs, and documentation related to utility operations.
• Support planning, scheduling, and execution of utility upgrades, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Track work orders and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in utilities, engineering, or facilities management preferred.
• 1‑3 years experience in utilities coordination, facilities support, or related field.
• Valid passport (minimum one year) and ability to obtain required visas and facility credentials.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and comply with security and deployment standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems.
• Familiarity with water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Understanding of telecommunications utility systems.
