Videographer & Video Editor

About the role

G Y Group Real Estate, a premium residential property developer of off-plan developments in Kenya, is looking for a Videographer & Video Editor to join its Marketing Department in Nairobi. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on producing high-quality visual content for residential developments and corporate marketing. The role works under the creative direction of the Marketing Department.

Key responsibilities

• Film, edit and deliver professional video content for property showcases, construction updates, brand campaigns, podcasts, corporate events and digital platforms.
• Operate professional camera, lighting and audio equipment and manage the full video production and post-production process.
• Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards and agreed timelines.
• Translate approved creative briefs into polished visual content.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in videography, video editing or multimedia production.
• Diploma or degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Communications or a related field is an added advantage; previous real estate or property development experience is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle several production assignments at once.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and respond constructively to feedback.
• Portfolio or links to previous work showing filming, editing and visual storytelling.

Required skills

• Proficiency in professional camera operation, composition, lighting and audio recording.
• Video editing and post-production with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or equivalent.
• Experience with short-form and long-form video for digital platforms.
• Working knowledge of video formats, aspect ratios, colour grading, sound design and platform requirements.
