Virtual Patient Services Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Virtual Patient Services Coordinator to support a U.S.-based behavioral health organization. This fully remote, non-clinical position focuses on scheduling, patient communication, and maintaining accurate records in the electronic health record system.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
• Respond to patient inquiries via email and live calls.
• Maintain up-to-date records within the EHR system.
• Support intake, rescheduling, and administrative follow-ups.
• Ensure all communications comply with HIPAA and privacy standards.
• Maintain organized internal documentation using Notion and Google Workspace.
• Assist with internal reporting and data tracking for operational visibility.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a patient-facing role.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Solid understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, async-first environment.
• Experience in behavioral or mental health settings is a plus.
