Warehouse Team Leader

About the role

The Warehouse Team Leader will oversee daily warehouse operations for Equator Bottlers Limited, a member of Coca‑Cola Beverages Africa. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the role ensures efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, order fulfilment and dispatch of goods while maintaining safety and compliance standards. The incumbent will coordinate closely with the broader logistics team, manage warehouse staff, and drive continuous improvement in processes and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise receiving, storage, and dispatch activities to meet service level agreements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock reconciliations.
• Ensure all warehouse operations comply with health, safety and operational standards.
• Lead a team of warehouse personnel, providing coaching, scheduling and performance feedback.
• Monitor and optimise workflow, equipment utilisation and space allocation.
• Collaborate with procurement, production and distribution functions to align supply chain activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading warehouse or logistics teams.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage staff, schedules and performance metrics.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
